This study was carried out to investigate the effect of Jungwan(CV 12) and Wi-Su(B21) Aqua-acupuncture with Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract in the Gastritis of the rats induced by the Aspirin, Histological studies were done on the mucosa of stomach in rats after 7 days treatment of Aqua-acupuncture of Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract at he bilateral loci corresponding to Jung-Wan(CV 12) and Wi-Su(B 21)
The results were summarized as following
1. In after Aspirin administrated 1 and for 4days, stomach epitherial tissues were damaged, and hemorrhagic erosines were showed under epitherial cell layer, and in after Aspirin administrated 7days, auto improvement with similarity at normal group was showed
2. Normal stomach epitherial tissues were stained PSA in 1 and 4days teatment group with Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract Aqua-acupuncture, and in the Jung-Wan (CV 12) Aqua-acupuncture 4days group was similarly reparied with normal group
3. Stomach epitherial tissues and hemorrhagic erosines were repaired in 4days treatment group in the Jung-Wan(CV 12) and Wi-Su(B 21) with Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract Aqua-acupuncture, especially significant promoting effect was showed in the Jung-Wan(CV 12) Aqua-acupuncture group with Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract
These results appeared to suggest that Jung-Wan(CV 12) Aqua-acupuncture with Tractylodis Rhizoma Extract might be effective on the gastritis, thus applied to the prescriptions for the treatment of stomach disease that damaged epithelial layer of the stomach as well as distress in the stomach and acid regurgitation
